VALPOLICELLA : DRIVE AND TASTE

The year 2023 opens with something new for Delightful Driving, the Valpolicella tour that combines the pleasure of driving with the pleasure of sitting down with friends and sharing our passions.

On Friday, we arrive at the hotel that will be our starting point. Located in the vicinity of Illasi, it is characterised by a stupendous view overlooking the many surrounding vineyards. The Sporting Hotel San Felice*** located on the hilltop, among green hills will be our base for the tour.

On Saturday morning we will set off in the direction of the Lessinia park, a magnificent area with breathtaking views and curvy roads as we like them. Leaving the main course for Sunday morning, we will head in the direction of Sabbionara where we will begin the climb up Mount Baldo, the place for lunch. A place that is fairly underrated for us because it borders Lake Garda, but which possesses a charm all its own and which we would like to introduce to you. Once lunch is over, we will descend from Mount Baldo to return to the other side of the Adige, passing through Fumane and then Negrar to return to the hotel along the southern part of Lessinia. The day will not end there, of course, because a tasting dinner will be waiting for us at the hotel: four typical courses accompanied by as many local wines are included in the package offered to you.

On Sunday morning we will return to the Lessinia Natural Park, this time, however, entering it fully and admiring one of the most beautiful places in north-eastern Italy. We recommend that you bring your camera because, weather permitting, it will be put to good use.
