Mugello Tour

Delightful Driving kicked off the season with a tour of Mugello / Tuscany. Despite the unpredictable weather, we experienced three days of adventure, scenic beauty, and a passion for driving.

On Friday, we ventured into the heart of upper Mugello, following the historic roads of the Mugello circuit, which once witnessed the legendary cars of the Mille Miglia speeding by.

Saturday morning was dedicated to nature, with the Casentino Forests Park providing a stunning backdrop. The views were breathtaking, framed by ancient forests and majestic mountains. In the afternoon, our return through the Florentine hills gifted us the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside.

Sunday took us through the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines with their thrilling curves and spectacular views. A cycling race couldn’t be missed. The climax was reaching Imola Circuit, where we concluded our journey with style and a shared passion for motorsport.

Not everything was smooth, especially the Tuscan asphalt. A particularly memorable moment occurred when a young enthusiast in his Subaru joined us on the descent. He wanted to showcase his driving skills but overshot a corner, risking going off-road, with a distinct smell of overheated brakes filling the air.
