Grossglockner sports car tour and the Green Heart of Austria
Delightful driving has organized a new car tour through the green heart of Austria. This trip, designed to offer a unique driving experience and breathtaking views, was a real success.
Day 1: Thursday 11 July – Departure from Lienz
The tour began on Thursday 11 July in Lienz, a picturesque town located at the foot of the majestic Grossglockner. Lienz, with its Alpine charm, was the ideal starting point for this trip, allowing the participants to get to know each other.
Day 2: Friday – Crossing the Grossglockner
On Friday morning, the group crossed the majestic Grossglockner. This panoramic road, known for being one of the most beautiful in Europe, offered participants spectacular views of Austria’s highest peak. The route, with its exciting curves and breathtaking landscapes, made crossing the Grossglockner an unforgettable experience.
The afternoon, however, was less exciting than the necessary transfer to the second hotel, but at least we still had the hairpin bends of the magnificent Grossglockner imprinted in our minds.
Day 3: Saturday – The Great Tour of Upper Styria
Saturday was dedicated to a Grand Tour through the heart of Upper Styria. This route, characterized by fantastic curves and the rushing waters of the Salza, offered participants an exhilarating day of driving. Lunch stop immersed in nature in a very simple but equally excellent place for a quick stop, then return to the drive.
Day 4: Sunday – Return home
Sunday morning marked the return home for the participants. After days of exhilarating riding and breathtaking scenery, the group said goodbye.Special thanks go to our local friends who recommended us some wonderful roads, with perfect asphalt, excellent for our cars. Their support and knowledge of the area made this tour even more memorable.
